Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 10 – 15 years of experience with Municipal Engineering, Municipal Client Representation, Subdivision and Land Development Plan and Stormwater/Drainage Plan Review, MS-4 Programs (including PRPs) on behalf of municipal clients, and Public Works Design.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in PA is required
- Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Business development experience and/or existing municipal client relationships strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Municipal client representation as Township or Borough Engineer, serving as a primary municipal consultant
- Attend and participate in municipal meetings to represent clients
- Manage and review subdivision and land development plans for conformance with municipal ordinances
- Oversee stormwater management design, detention basin rehabilitation, and infrastructure improvements
- Assist with state and local permitting processes
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments
- Provide construction support services, including contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high-quality municipal services
- Perform business development to help facilitate growth in municipal and utility engineering, including securing new municipal clients and expanding services to existing ones
