Position Type: Full-Time
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (3+ years preferred).
- Proven experience creating advanced grading models and complex surface designs.
- Demonstrated skill in developing 3D CAD models (e.g., structure, retaining systems, grading, mechanical/civil interfaces).
- Strong understanding of land development, civil/site design, or infrastructure workflows.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GIS or survey data integration.
- Background in civil engineering, drafting/design technologies, or related fields.
- Familiarity with corridor modeling, pipe networks, and feature lines.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and detailed 3D grading models for site development, roadway, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Generate 3D CAD models (grading, structure, custom 3D assemblies, etc.) based on engineering specifications.
- Produce and manage Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and grading objects.
- Assist with design optimization through iterative modeling and quality checks.
- Prepare construction-ready CAD files, exhibits, and plan sets.
- Coordinate closely with engineers and survey teams to ensure model accuracy and integration with field data.
- Maintain CAD standards, templates, and layer management for project consistency.
