CEC is proud to have supported Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (BCRA) in delivering vital water system enhancements through the successful construction of a new 1.7 million-gallon pre-stressed concrete water storage tank at their Swiftwater Facility.

Project Scope & Highlights
To support BCRA’s long-term water service needs, this comprehensive project included a wide range of upgrades and new construction efforts:
- Construction of the new 1.7 MG concrete water storage tank
- Installation of submersible mixers and transducers in each tank
- Demolition of the outdated recirculating pump house and appurtenances
- Installation of a new electrical equipment enclosure for SCADA and security improvements
- Site piping, valves, electric, and control systems
- Cleaning and removal of the existing septic tank
- Safety improvements to the existing tank, including ladder extension and fall prevention hardware
Project Completion
Construction has been completed, including all concrete work, tank testing, and disinfection. The upgraded infrastructure is now fully operational, significantly boosting system reliability and supporting long-term water service demands for the region.
