Requirements:
- NJ P.E. Required or the ability to obtain (must be an E.I.T.)
- 5 – 10+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledgeable in land development and site design in New Jersey, including:
- Stormwater Management, grading, erosion & sediment control, and utility design
- Regulatory agency permitting (ie. NJDEP) and municipal subdivision and plan approvals
- Must have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or other stormwater design software
- Strong work ethics and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage and design multiple concurrent projects
Position Description:
- Oversee and design a wide variety of projects, both small and large, in the multi-use, residential, commercial, institutional, etc. categories
- Oversee local municipal approvals
- Manage and develop site design (from conception through final approval), stormwater management design, grading, erosion and sedimentation control, site investigation, and research of state and local regulations and design standards
- Prepare concept plans, site plans, subdivision plans, and reports. Must have fundamental knowledge of stormwater management design
- Regular coordination/communication with contractors, clients, sub-consultants, and other team members
