Position Overview

As a CAD Technician specializing in Land Survey, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing high-quality survey-related drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, contributing to a variety of projects including boundary and topography surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction layout, and site as-built projects. Key Responsibilities

• Engage in all aspects of plan preparation and production, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Download and plot survey field notes, accurately depicting existing conditions.
• Create detailed surfaces and perform various calculations to support field personnel.
• Review title reports, ensuring all projects are in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Proactively identify problems and devise effective solutions to enhance project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Civil/Surveying roles, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, capable of producing detailed and accurate drawings.
• Experience in interpreting deeds and title reports, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• An ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with efficiency and precision.
• A goal-oriented, highly organized individual with a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Self-motivated and a true team player, ready to collaborate and contribute to our projects’ success.
• Familiarity with Leica Cyclone Core or other point cloud software is a bonus.
