Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree. Business, Sales, Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
- 2-10 years of experience.
- Outgoing and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- A fast learner with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Engineering industry is a plus.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and have keen attention to detail.
- Travel is required for this position (within the market).
Position Description:
- Business Development Specialist reports to and supports the Vice President and Manager of the Business Development & Marketing Department in our Corporate Headquarters (Warrington, PA).
- Make cold calls and develop and send out introductory emails to potential clients, along with follow-up.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with potential clients.
- Maintain existing and new client relationships with clients.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of proposals and qualification packages.
- Network and attend industry events and conferences.
- Work with Marketing Consultant to support business development initiatives/projects.
